POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
1.Conduct weekly (as needed) team discussions.
2.Support Asia equipment request for quotes and projects to deliver technical information.
3.Support supplier evaluation (technical / quality) and establish strong technical structure at supplier.
4.Ensure specifications including safety requirements are understood and fully met.
5.Validate supplier designs, controls, and engineering work.
6.Establish standardized parts and PLC controls.
7.Implement PLC programming standards to optimize settings, languages and prepare for future upgrades, remote setting and interfaces.
8.Other activities as assigned by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
2.Required 5 years experience as engineer in machine building and automation/robotics industry and familiar with manufacturing process.
3.Fluent English (additional German language skills preferred)
4.Driver’s License and ability to travel.
5.Technical understanding of Controls and ability to operate machinery.
6.Knowledge of European and North American safety standards.
